A Development Consultant is a liaison between a non-profit or private organization and a government run funding agency such as BC Housing. The consultants assist a volunteer board of directors and typically an Executive Director through the entire process of developing a non-profit project. From conception to delivery and through the warranty period the Development Consultant represents the group and deals with project oriented paperwork and issues. From development of the initial Performa, through the municipal process and during construction the consultant ensures all funding requirements are met and tracks all financial issues and claims through the construction period.
